Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) 2011 Report

Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer and second leading cause of cancer deaths among Ontario women (2012). The Ontario Breast Screening Program (OBSP) aims to reduce deaths from breast cancer through evidence-based, high-quality screening.

In our 2011 report we address significant changes in the OBSP over the last few years, highlight program strengths and identify areas of focus for future improvement. We also introduce performance data for the OBSP High Risk Screening Program , launched in 2011.
